  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for safety purposes.

  • Open the oven door and locate the oven light placement (located on the back wall, in upper left corner for this specific model.)

  • Locate the metal strap holding the glass cover over the bulb.

  • Slide the strap to the side to free the glass casing.

  • View the light bulb without the glass case and ensure there is nothing else securing it to the oven.
  • Check to make sure there is no debris around the bulb and that the light bulb is ready to be removed.

Step 6

  • Using a dry cloth or gloves, unscrew the light bulb by turning it in a counter clockwise motion.

  • Screw in new light bulb in the clock wise direction.

  • Replace the glass cover over the bulb, but be sure to hold on to it tightly.

  • Secure the glass case to the oven with the metal strap by sliding it back over case until it fits tightly.

  • Plug the oven power cord back into power source.

  • Press the button for oven light to come on.
