Remove the Screws
- Use the #2 philips screwdriver to remove the four screws from the bottoms of the device. These screw heads are sized 5.3mm or .209 in

Opening the Device
- Remove the back casing panel by gently pulling back until you are able to reach the inside. gently pull the microphone out of its housing. This is only held in by friction so its easy to remove

Locate Wires
- Locate the two wires attached to the microphone. The wires are attached to the back of the motherboard and are brown and black.

Soldering
- Using the soldering station and soldering iron unsolder the two pins holding the microphone in place

Replace Microphone
- Pull out the old microphone and discard it the correct way. Place the new microphone in the same spot the old one was in. Solder the new microphone to the correct pins
