- Remove the single 3/16" screw with the Phillips #0 Screwdriver that secures the Optical Drive.

- Slightly wiggle the Optical Drive from the laptop using the Heavy Duty Spudger.

- Using your hands, gently slide the Optical Drive out of the slot.
- Set the Optical Drive in a safe designated area.
