• Locate the circled screw.
• Carefully unscrew, making sure not to strip out the screw.

• Use any tool with a flat edge in order to pry out the CD-Drive, preferably a plastic opening tool.

• Once the CD drive has been pried out enough, you can pull it out without damaging the other components.
