              Power Button Replacement               

• Use the T-4 screwdriver to unscrew the 9 mm screws on the back of the device.

• Pry open the device from all four sides using the iFixit Plastic Opening Tool until you see the inside of the system.

• Look for a small button on the motherboard at the top of the device, and insert replacement power button on top of the small button on the motherboard until you hear a click.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Does not help me a bit. My button fell off and I did not see it come off, so it is lost. Cannot fix it without info of where to get a replacement!

The power button on my Garmin 50 LM fell off the other day. I can’t find anywhere where I can buy a new replacement. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I’m looking for same switch part for nuvi 40lm. Unless we purchase a whole

Unit from EBay that doesn’t work just for the switch. Good luck if you find one.
