The battery does not hold a charge and dies quickly.
Ensure the charging port is correctly inserted into the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic if the port is not inserted correctly into the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic then no charging will happen.
A poor charging cord will cause cause the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic to not charge. Examine the charging cord for any damage, replace cord if any damage is found.
A BMS failure could mean the battery is overcharging which can ultimately lead to poor battery life.
If Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic is on the charger for excessive amounts of time this could cause a BMS failure because the battery is being overcharged. When charging the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic make sure to unplug the cord once the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic is fully charged to avoid overcharging.
The older a battery is the weaker the battery life, resulting in fast draining battery. If the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic is significantly aged replace the battery with a newer one.
The display flickers or freezes.
If the screen suddenly freezes or glitches this could be a malfunction in the display. Reset the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic to resolve the malfunction.
A software update is essential in making sure the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic is up to date and has any bugs fixed. If the display on the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic freezes and crashes the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic could potentially need a software update to function normally again.
If Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic has collected an abundance of dust this can cause the system to over heat leading to display freezing and flickering. If Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic has noticeably collected dust remove the dust.
The sound is distorted or no sound comes out of the speaker.
If the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic has been placed into silent mode this will cause no sound to come out of the speakers. Enter the audio settings mode on the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic and ensure the audio is not muted.
If all the wires are not secured into the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic this will cause distorted sound or no sound to come out of the speakers. Check all the wires connected to the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic and ensure they are all secured into their ports.
If speakers have a burnt voice coil this is often the cause of a distorted sound coming out of the speaker. Replace the coils in the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic if they are burnt and ensure the amplifier isn’t set too high for output sound by going into audio settings. This will prevent future burnt voice coils.
The device displays a blue screen and the device stops working.
The Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic may have experienced an error within the hardware that caused a sudden blue screen, reset the device to resolve this error.
Not keeping the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic up to date will allow more bugs and errors to happen which will cause a blue screen. Make sure the Garmin Drive 52 and Traffic is currently up to date with the latest updates to prevent these errors from happening.
