  • In my case I got an disply from ebay, the quality seems like the original

  • The screen is bonded in. you can get it out with heat like common smart phone displays
  • In my case, I forced it out with the shown plastic tools, as it anyway was broken

Step 3

              removing old glue residues               
  • remove the residues of the glue. I used alcohol and a blade

              connecting and glue in the new display               
  • connect the 2 different FPCs. Blue to blue and red to red circle.
  • glue and seal the display. In this case T-700 was used
  • let it set, you’re done!

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Hey! How do you suggest getting the screen off if it’s not as shattered at yours?. Picking away at the crack? I would post a pic but not seeing how to do that… I’m going to attempt. Figure local cell phone repair places will charge half its value if they’ll even do it.

Hi John, I haven’t personally tried this repair, but I’d say something like our iOpener would work great.
