Step 1

              G&G Combat Machine RK47               
  • Start by pressing the top cover retainer button and lifting the top cover off of the gun.

  • Pull the thin black rod away from the top cover button and swing it outwards.
  • Remove the small screw from the plastic receiver cover using a #0 Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3

  • Lift the plastic receiver cover from the receiver and remove it.
  • Slide the top cover retainer button out of its groove and remove it.

Step 4

  • Remove the four screws on the underside of the receiver with a 2mm hex driver.
  • Pull the barrel assembly out of the receiver.
  • Remove the two screws holding the hop-up unit in place.
  • Pull the inner barrel out of the outer barrel.

  • Remove the screw a the bottom of the pistol grip with a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  • Remove the two motor mount screws with a 2mm hex driver.

Step 6

  • Using a flat head screwdriver, pry off the selector lever cap.
  • Once the cap is removed, remove the screw underneath with a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  • Remove the selector lever.

Step 7

  • Carefully remove the gearbox from the receiver, making sure that the wires don’t get stuck.

  • Using a 2.5mm hex driver, remove the three screws that hold the stock to the receiver.
  • Pull the stock away from the receiver to remove it.

Step 9

  • Remove the safety from the right side of the gearbox.
  • Remove the selector gear screw with a 2mm hex driver as shown.
  • Remove the selector gear assembly.

Step 10

  • Lift the tabs on the small black cap behind the trigger, and then remove the cap.
  • Pull the wires out from under the tabs on the spring plate that runs along the top of the gearbox.
  • Carefully remove the spring plate by tapping it gently with a plastic hammer until it slides off the front of the gearbox.

Step 11

  • Remove the four remaining gearbox screws with a 2mm hex driver.
  • Hold down the cylinder with your thumb while prying the gearbox apart from the top.
  • As you remove the right half of the gearbox, be sure to hold down the cylinder, piston, and spring assembly so that they do not pop out under tension.
  • Also keep a close eye out for any gear shims that may dislodge themselves as you are taking the gearbox apart.

Remove the four remaining gearbox screws with a 2mm hex driver.

Hold down the cylinder with your thumb while prying the gearbox apart from the top.

As you remove the right half of the gearbox, be sure to hold down the cylinder, piston, and spring assembly so that they do not pop out under tension.

Also keep a close eye out for any gear shims that may dislodge themselves as you are taking the gearbox apart.

Step 12

  • Slowly lift the spring guide out of the gearbox along with the piston spring.
  • Remove the entire piston and cylinder assembly with the tappet plate, tappet plate spring, and air nozzle.
  • Remove the trigger assembly and lift up the wire harness, unhooking the trigger plunger spring in the process.

Step 13

  • Pull the trigger plunger out of the wire harness.
  • Remove the three gears and the anti-reversal latch. Be careful not to misplace any of the shims or bushings, or the anti-reversal latch spring.

  • The RK47 is now fully disassembled.
