Step 1

              Removing battery               
    1. Turn your notebook over.
    1. For safety reasons, remove your battery. Turn switch on right inwards. Do the same with the one on the left. Hold it, then remove battery pack.

              Removing plastic elements               
    1. Turn your laptop back and open it wide.
    1. Use plastic card or guitar pick to release plastic from latches. Be gentle, it’s only plastic.

Step 3

              Removing keyboard               
    1. Keyboard is held in place by two plastic latches. You can gentle push it out.
    1. When you pull out the keyboard, you have to disconnect it from motherboard. There is a lever-action ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connector. Simply open black part upwards.
    1. With connector opened, gently pull out the ribbon cable.
