Step 1

              Remove EVF
  • Follow disassembly instructions from disassembly guide through step 17
  • unscrew 2 philips screws.
  • Slide the EVF to remove it. Becareful “play” button will come out too.

Step 2

              Separate lens block and LCD
  • Adhesive sealing tape can be just worked out with tweezers to unstick it without removing it.

Step 3

              EVF lens block disassembly
  • disassembly plastic cover
  • unscrew plastic wheel.
  • Becareful not to loose the little metal ball
  • Working on a magnetic mat can be handful
  • when re-assembling:
  • put the first plastic wheel on place
  • Drop the ball in the hole, and put the spring over it
  • Then screw the second plastic wheel over it

Step 4

              EVF lens teardown
  • To remove lens block, you have to push the 2 metal rods from one side to the other. The rods have one end thinner than the other
  • Now you can remove every lens in order to clean them from dust or humidity
  • When re-assembling, there’s only one way to get them back in, so keep track of lenses order and direction when removing each one of them. Or wou’ll have to try many times to comlete the puzzle.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
