Your battery door keeps falling off
If the place where the battery door hooks onto the camera is broken off, you need to replace the battery door. Remove the door by sliding the clips out of the holes and slide the replacement door back in.
Camera Doesn’t Focus
Rotate the lens around and try to get the camera to focus. Try pointing the camera perpendicular to one specific object so it is easier for the camera to focus.
The flash will not pop up
Press the button on top of the camera near the flash to pop up the flash manually. Sometimes the camera does not automatically pop up the flash, but you can pop it up using the button.
Manually pry up the flash and wrap a rubber band around the flash and the camera until it holds the flash in an upright position.
Spring Replacement Guide
Camera says Write Error
Turn the camera off, then open the battery door. Remove the SD card by pushing it in until you hear a click. The card will pop out. Slide the switch on the side of the card from the “lock” position upwards until it does not move any more. Then insert the SD card back into the camera and turn the camera on.
Zoom toggle isn’t working as it is very loose
Get a screwdriver and try tightening the zoom toggle. If you are not able to tighten the zoom toggle, then replace the zoom toggle or replace the camera.
