- Remove the 4 screws from the flash casing.

- Pry the edges off of the flash casing, and pull it off of the camera.

- Locate the spring on the left-hand side of the camera.
- Remove the spring by pulling it out of its placement.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
