- Place 2 - 3 inches of thicker heat shrink tubing over the main wiring.

- Connect the wires and hold them in place.

- While the two wires are connected, place the solder metal over the wires.
- Bond the wires together by pressing the soldering iron over the solder, until the solder covers where the wires connect.

- Heat the tip of a thin screwdriver with an average lighter.
- Use a tool or an oven mitt to hold the screwdriver to avoid any burns.

- Using a wrench to hold the screw driver, use a hammer to keep weight on the screwdriver.
- This allows the screwdriver to melt through any plastic from the RCA male plug and reach the metal tip inside the port.
- Remove the pin when it has bonded to the screwdriver.
