Introduction

Examination of the two carbon bushes on the motor showed they were worn down to 5mm 2mm respectively. New brushes are 11mm long. New brushes cost about £5 on ebay. These brushes were nominally the correct size and were sold to fit this model, though the metal contact did need filing down to fit.

Photos were taken during actual repair to aid re-assembly, not as a guide to do the repair. Hopefully they may be of use.

  • Flip it on the side that shows model number. Husqvanrna own Flymo or vice versa.
