No matter what you do, you can’t get your Flip MinoHD to turn on.
Before delving into the guts of your Flip MinoHD, make sure it doesn’t just need to be reset. To reset the device, hold the reset button for 10 seconds by placing a pin into the reset hole on the device until the display turns off and back on.
If your Flip MinoHD won’t turn on, you may simply have a drained battery and it must be charged by plugging the device into an outlet using the charger.
It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. If your device is charged and reset it is possible the display is bad and must be replaced. Check out our display guide to do so: Flip MinoHD Display Screen Replacement

If the Flip MinoHD still will not power on, the problem most likely lies in the logic board and should be replaced. You can follow how to replace the logic board here with our logic board guide: Flip MinoHD Motherboard Replacement
Flip MinoHD stops recording or only records for a limited amount of time.
It is possible that the Flip MinoHD’s storage is full and files must be transferred to a computer through USB connection. Connect the device via USB port to a computer and export all remaining files on the device to the computer. Deleted files must be moved to the trash bin AND emptied. If this folder is not emptied, recording space may still be limited. Reset your device after the files have been transferred and your device’s recording capacity should be restored.
There is no response or affect of pressing the buttons.
Remove the batteries or rechargeable battery pack. You may wish to blow on the battery or its insert to ensure it is cooled down or cleaned out. Reinsert the battery and press the power button to turn on.
No matter what you do, you can’t get your Flip Mino HD charge.
Disconnect the battery by following our guide, and let sit for about 2-3 minutes to cool. Reconnect and make sure the device is reassembled, then power back on.

Clean the charging port by powering off the device and lightly blowing into the port/cleaning with a dry tissue to remove any dust. After cleaning the port you can power up the device.
The play button has no effect when you connect your device to the TV in order to watch your videos.
It is possible that there is not a problem with the device and the adapter is broken and needs to be replaced in order to establish a connection between device and television.
