What you need

Step 1

              Fix LG G3 "SIM Card Removed" or "Service Disabled" issue               
  • My LG G3 had “Service Disabled” and “SIM Card Removed” come up more and more.
  • First power off, remove the back cover and place the screen on a stable surface.
  • Use J0 or similar Phillips driver, REALLY tighten all 13 screws, using downward pressure to keep the drive in place. But be careful not to damage any part.
  • Then put the battery, the SIM and the back cover back, and power on. Good luck!

My LG G3 had “Service Disabled” and “SIM Card Removed” come up more and more.

First power off, remove the back cover and place the screen on a stable surface.

Did as mentioned and so far 3 days later no rebooting of phone with messages saying invalid sim card…. Here’s hoping it continues… thank you so much! Dale

Tried this fix and noticed that the screw nearest to the main camera lens was loose. Tightened it and all the others screws as recommended, and the issue was resolved.
