              Wristband               
  • To release a latch, press down on the flat metal button holding the band to the Fitbit Alta. Pull up on the latch to release the band from the body.

  • Slide the band up to release it from the Fitbit Alta tracker. Then, repeat on the other side to remove the band.

Step 3

  • Turn over the Fitbit Alta so the bands are facing upward.
  • Press the latches inward and remove each band by lifting upward.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. When you hear a click , the wristband is secure.

My band broke off and the tab used for removal broke and I cannot get my remnant of my band off. What are the steps for removing the band if the tab is broken?
