External battery Disassembly
- IFIXIT Battery pack
- You’ll need to use a heat gun to heat the adhesive
- Heat the top of the pack for 2-3 minutes. Be careful when touching the pack after heating

Step 2
- Take the Jimmy and slide it in the grove and gently pry up and slowly work the jimmy down and around the pack
- Once done, you will see the adhesive.
- Clean the remaining adhesive off the battery pack

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
