- Use a 5mm Allen wrench to unscrew the brakes.

- Unscrew the stem-bolts using a 4mm Allen wrench and remove the faceplate and handlebar from the stem (hold the handlebar as this step is done).

- Clean the faceplate cover with a cloth.

- Replace the faceplate with the bar on the stem, and screw down the bolts evenly using a 4mm Allen wrench.
