Step 1

              Wash Screen               

• Press the grey dust cup release button and gently pull the dust cup towards you.

• Twist the large, black portion of the cyclone/dust cup to the right to unlock the black cyclone from the clear dust cup.

• Twist the clear collar to release the wash screen and small circular collar.

Step 4

• If screen is beyond washing clean or is cracked, connect new screen to cyclone and collar.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

reattaching the collar to the wash screen is NOT EASY! I am not able to do it. What is the trick here??

Nvm. Just had to use my brain. there is a small groove in the plastic cylinder of the vacuum cleaner - the screen has to go below this - so that the collar can slide into the groove.
