              Brush Roll               
  • Step on the grey release button located between the two back wheels to lower the handle flat to the floor.
  • Insure the vacuum is unplugged before starting the process of removing the brush roll.

  • Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the four screws from each corner of the brush roll cover.

  • Remove the brush cover from the vacuum base, by pulling straight up.

  • Firmly press upwards from below the brush roll on the side opposite the belt.

  • After one end is displaced, remove the other side by pressing firmly upwards from below the the brush roll.

Step 6

  • Once the brush roll is displaced from the base, detach the belt from the brush roll in order to clean the brush roll.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Brush roll replacement is a no brainer. It is the brush roll assembly that turns the brush that I need to fix. Cannot determine what tool to use as it doesn’t come off using a regular screwdriver and eureka won’t tell me what to ese.
