What you need

Step 1

              Replacing the alarm switch               
  • Remove the battery door using your finger nail or an opening tool.

              Remove screws               
  • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the 3 screws on the back cover.

              Remove Cover               
  • Remove the back cover.
  • DO NOT cut the wires attached on the cover.

Step 4

  • Use Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the small screw located above the alarm switch.
  • Remove the small screw located below the alarm switch.

Use Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the small screw located above the alarm switch.

Step 5

  • Place the end of the soldering iron to the end of the wire on the copper cylinder to detach the wire.
  • If you are unfamiliar with soldering, take a look at this article,How to Solder and Desolder Connections.
  • To replace the alarm switch, attach one end of new alarm switch wire to the copper cylinder.
  • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to reinstall the switch screws.
  • Follow steps in reverse order to assemble the clock.

Place the end of the soldering iron to the end of the wire on the copper cylinder to detach the wire.

To replace the alarm switch, attach one end of new alarm switch wire to the copper cylinder.

Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to reinstall the switch screws.

Follow steps in reverse order to assemble the clock.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
