Step 1
Replacing the alarm switch
- Remove the battery door using your finger nail or an opening tool.

Remove screws
- Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the 3 screws on the back cover.

Remove Cover
- Remove the back cover.
- DO NOT cut the wires attached on the cover.

Step 4
- Use Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the small screw located above the alarm switch.
- Remove the small screw located below the alarm switch.
Use Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the small screw located above the alarm switch.

Step 5
- Place the end of the soldering iron to the end of the wire on the copper cylinder to detach the wire.
- If you are unfamiliar with soldering, take a look at this article,How to Solder and Desolder Connections.
- To replace the alarm switch, attach one end of new alarm switch wire to the copper cylinder.
- Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to reinstall the switch screws.
- Follow steps in reverse order to assemble the clock.
Place the end of the soldering iron to the end of the wire on the copper cylinder to detach the wire.
