I tried cartridge 124 and 125 in black only (and it says ink cartridge not recognized and won’t print even if the black cartridges are full). But I left the color ones empty! Do ALL of the cartridges have to be full in order for the printer to work?? I only do black and white print jobs so it doesn’t make sense for me to buy color ink. Thanks a lot!!

When I tried these instructions the very first thing I tried did not work. The cartridges were not in the center, they were on the right side of the machine and I couldn’t get to them. Any suggestions?
