Introduction

The internal power supply supplies power to the device which gives the device the ability to turn on and off.

If the device is not turning on while plugged in or is turning on and off, this could be an issue with the internal power supply. Look at the troubleshooting guide for this device; other parts of the device are connected to the power supply and could solve other power supply issues.

What you need

Step 1

              Power Supply               
  • Remove the eleven 13.3mm screws using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.
  • Remove the bottom cover of the projector.
  • Flip the device over and remove the air filter cover.

Remove the bottom cover of the projector.

Step 2

  • Remove the two 13.3 mm screws from the top cover by the air filter cover.
  • Remove the one 13.3 mm screw above the connection panel.
  • Remove the top cover and lay to the side connected to the power supply.
  • The cover will be connected by ribbon cables. You do not need to disconnect these to complete this repair, but it may make it easier.

Step 3

  • Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the six 13.3 mm screws on the ABS black cover and AC power inlet above the power supply.
  • Lift up cover and inlet and set to the side.

Step 4

  • Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the 7.7 mm screw attached to the ring terminal.

Step 5

  • Using the opening tool, unclip the white clip cable by pressing the side tabs.

Step 6

  • Using the opening tool or a spudger, unclip the power supply from the base.
  • Remove the power supply.

Remove the power supply.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
