Image is not clear and hard to see.

Adjust the focus ring which is located on top of the projector, near to the lens, by moving it left and right.

Adjust projector positioning by moving it closer and further. It should match the recommended distance: no closer than 22in and no further than 48in.

Clean the lens off with rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth.

Replace lens by using this guide.

Screen only displays a message that says “No Signal”.

Press the source search button located on the control panel to cycle through available sources.

Unplug cables from the I/O board and plug cables back in to make sure they are fully inserted into the I/O board.

If cables are fully inserted, try swapping the cable out for a new one.

Image on projector is different than image on computer.

Adjust the color tone balance in the extended menu on the control panel (you cannot adjust color uniformity when the Color Mode setting is set to dynamic).

Adjust brightness by going to Light Source Mode setting. If the image is too bright, lower brightness. If the image is too dark, increase brightness.

The projector is not outputting any sound or is too quiet/loud.

Make sure cable connections between the projector and the video source and make sure any connected audio cables are labeled “No Resistance.”

If you do not hear a sound from an HDMI source, set the connected device to PCM output by going to your computer’s settings and following: Settings>Sound>Digital Audio Out>PCM.

Screen only displays a message that says “Not Supported”.

Make sure that your computer’s resolution does not exceed WSXGA+ and the frequency is supported by the projector. You can check the resolution and change it by going to your computer’s display settings, click the advanced display settings, use the resolution button to set a new resolution, then click the apply button to see a preview of the new resolution on your computer.

Make sure the correct video signal is selected in the signal menu, it should normally be set to “auto,” unless you are using a 60-Hz PAL system, then select “PAL60.” To check the video signal, go to the settings in the signal menu press the “Search Source” button.

Projector is hot to the touch and the temperature light is on.

Clean the area around the projector by wiping it down with a microfiber cloth and make sure that no items are blocking the vents on the sides of the projector.

Clean the air filter and vents. To do this, turn the projector off and let it cool, then remove the air filter gently and clean it with a microfiber cloth. If the blockage can not be removed with a cloth, replace the filter using this guide.
