Introduction

The lamp is a piece of equipment that comes with the projector, and it helps to project an image onto the corresponding screen. A faulty lamp is one that may be producing a distorted image onto the screen you are projecting to. In some cases, your projector may not produce an image at all if the lamp starts to produce a distorted image.

Before using this replacement guide, make sure to review the troubleshooting page - oftentimes, a distorted image can be fixed without replacing the lamp.

When you are disposing of your old lamp, make sure to check out your state’s requirements for disposal of the lamp, since it does contain mercury.

Once you have installed the new lamp, remember to reset the lamp timer in the menu.
