The projector does not show any signs of power
Visually inspect the physical state of the device power cable.
If there is any physical damage on the cable or if the device has no active indicator lights, consider replacing the power cable.
If a replacement or inspection of the power cable rules out the possibility of a broken power cord, the power supply located within the Epson Home Cinema 2150 may be malfunctioning. The power supply is designed to deliver the proper power to the projector. If the projector shows no sign of power despite the use of a functional power cable, the power supply may need to be replaced. Replace the power supply using this Power Supply Guide.
The projector projects distorted and blurry images
If the image is blurry, use the focus slider on the projector lens to sharpen the image by moving the slider left or right.
The lens may be dirty from any dust which may have accumulated on the surface of the lens. Clean the lens from the outside using either single-use lens wipes or a microfiber cloth with lens cleaner.
The projector is on and displaying flickering images, or no image at all.

The cooling fan within the projector emits loud and disturbing noises
Ensure the Epson Home Cinema 2150’s vents are not blocked. Improper ventilation exerts additional stress on the device, forcing the fans to spin faster and louder.
Fans are a mechanical component subject to wear and tear. Mechanical components are often the first to fail. In the event the cooling fan within the projector begins to emit unpleasant noises, the Exhaust Fan may need to be replaced.
Wi-Fi connection is not established or unstable
Restore router connection to original settings by clicking reset on usually on the back of the projector and wait for blinking lights

Projector displays temperature warning messages
Remove the filter from its location on the side of the Epson Home Cinema 2150 to be dusted.
Objects near vents may obstruct the projector’s airflow. Improper heat dissipation may increase the Epson Home Cinema 2150’s temperature beyond the ideal threshold. Ensure the Epson Home Cinema 2150 is in an open area with no objects in direct contact with vents.
Vents ensure a device receives proper airflow. If there are any obstructions on the vents be sure to remove them. Compressed air may be used to carefully blow dust off the vents.
Audio emitting from the Epson Home Cinema 2150 is distorted
The Epson Home Cinema 2150 has a total of three possible image inputs. These three image inputs are comprised of 1 VGA input and 2 HDMI inputs. The VGA input is a 15-pin display connection with no support for audio signals. Using a VGA cable as an input method will not transmit audio signal to the Epson Home Cinema 2150. For the Epson Home Cinema 2150 to receive and transmit audio from the desired source, ensure an HDMI connection is employed.
The two HDMI ports on the back of the Epson Home Cinema 2150 are the only physical source inputs capable of audio transmission. A faulty cable may result in distorted audio. Consider using a known working cable to connect your source device to the Epson Home Cinema 2150. Alternatively, you can consider using a different HDMI port on the Epson Home Cinema 2150 or on the source.
The Epson Home Cinema 2150 has 1 audio output port. This port is designed for 3.5mm auxiliary connectors. If audio from the 3.5 mm auxiliary connector is clear while audio from the internal speaker in the Epson Home Cinema 2150 is distorted, the internal speaker may need to be replaced.
