  • Using the tuner, loosen the string by turning the tuner.
  • Continue to loosen the string until it is easily unwrapped and pulled out of the tuner.

  • On the bridge of the guitar, push the string through the back until the other end is visible. Then grasp and pull the string all the way out.

              Tuner               
  • Using a phillips head #2 screwdriver, unscrew the two 1.0 mm length screws on the sides of the tuner.
  • Be sure to keep track of the screws if you are using them for the new tuner, unless the new tuner has screws of its own.

  • The tuner should come right out of the back of the head of the guitar.
