  • Disconnect the LCD cable from the motherboard by pressing together the two sides of the clamp to separate the device into two.

  • The plastic power button is not held in by anything and should just fall right out of your device. You can now take your new plastic power button and fit it into your device. Press the button and make sure you feel it clicking correctly.
