What you need
Step 1
Remove label to access screws
- Peel back the “ELECTRONIC KITCHEN SCALE” label to reveal two screws underneath.

- Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws.
- These screws are very tight and prone to strip.

- Remove the four screws holding the top veneer panel to the base.

- Remove the top veneer panel. It should come off without any force.
- There are two small plastic clips on the edge below the screen, which must be inserted correctly during reassembly.

- Remove the screw holding the PCB and screen in place using a #1 Phillips screwdriver.

- Remove the PCB and screen assembly.
- The buttons should also lift up with the rest of the PCB/screen assembly.

- Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws holding the load cell mount to the base.

- Remove the two screws holding the load cell to the bracket using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

- Separate the bracket from the load cell.
- Be careful not to lose the spacer plate.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
