Introduction
- Caution: when working with switches and other fragile components, make sure to be gentle and not forceful in removing and inserting parts and electronics.Reminder: Upon reassembling, a new adhesive will have to be reapplied for the buttons to be replaced onto the dryer.
What you need
Step 1
Filter Cover
- Find the red dot along the top of the filter cover.
- The red dot will be aligned with the white dot at the bottom of the hair dryer’s handle.
- Twist the filter cover counter-clockwise until the red dot is shifted to align with the white open circle on the dryer handle.

- Remove the air filter by sliding it off the end of the cord.

Buttons
- Heat the iOpener in the microwave for 30 seconds and apply it immediately to the top of the buttons.
- Leave the iOpener in place for a couple minutes.

- Remove the buttons with tweezers.

- Use a microfiber towel soaked in rubbing alcohol to clean the button holes. Doing this will loosen the buttons if jammed.

Motor
- Remove the inner cover from the hair dryer by pulling each end apart to slide down the cover.

- Pull down the cover of the hair dryer.

- Pop off the front panel of the hair dryer.
- Flip the hair dryer 180 degrees to the back panel.
- Remove the three 10 mm screws located on the back of the hair dryer using a T3 Torx screwdriver.

Step 8
- Flip the hair dryer back to the front panel.
- Remove the four 10 mm screws on the front using a T4 Torx screwdriver.
- Remove the back cover of the hair dryer.
Flip the hair dryer back to the front panel.
Remove the four 10 mm screws on the front using a T4 Torx screwdriver.
Remove the back cover of the hair dryer.
Step 9
- Slide down the cover of the motor.
- Disconnect the switch on the metal circular area towards the center of the motor.

Step 10
- Disconnect the switch located in the center area of the motor.
- Slide off the black sheath on the motor.

Slide off the black sheath on the motor.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
