can you go over the removal of the shell in detail? this barely teaches anything at all

GRAHAM LEWIS - Mar 10, 2020

i have done this before. once you separate the controller, there will be a flat white cable connecting the bottom to the top. that is the charging port, so disconnect that. after, remove the battery and the black plastic piece. there will be a screw either holding the black piece on, or a hole on the black piece where a screw is. this screw is holding the motherboard to the top shell. take that screw out. then on the top right of the motherboard, unplug that wire. that is the touchpad cable. then, you should be able to take the motherboard out. then, there will be rubber pieces holding all of the top buttons in. on the d pad and action buttons, there are 4 little spots where they attach. on the power button, there are 2 spots. hope this helps
