If any liquid, including water, juice, and soda, was spilled on your keyboard, first, immediately turn the keyboard or laptop computer upside-down. Power off the computer, and continue to the steps in our computer cleaning guide.

With the dramatic decrease of cost with computer keyboards, if any sticky drink was spilt into the keyboard we suggest replacing the keyboard. Unless of course you’re using a more expensive keyboard or the keyboard is part of a laptop.
