Step 2

              Assemble
  • Insert carbon brushes with the springs. The alignment of the brushes must match the alignment of the axis! The brushes must be able to smoothly move along the guide.
  • While applying pressure to the springs, check whether the brushes are in contact with the rotor by slowly turning the shaft.
  • Screw the blue cover cap back on.

Step 4

              Rotor removal
  • Loosen the Torx screws holding down the tension relief (removal is not necessary)
  • Lift the rotor out of the housing at the front end and pull it out of the housing together with the winding and switch in the direction of the axis towards the front.
  • During this process, the two plug contacts to the electronics will become detached.
  • Remove the rubber bumper around the rear ball bearing.
  • Pull the rotor forward out of the mechanism. The winding and switch do not have to be removed for this (separated in the picture).

  • Insert the new rotor into the winding from the front.
  • Slide the rubber bumper onto the rear ball bearing.
  • Slide the rotor along with the winding and the switch into the housing at an angle from the front at the top. Lift the electronics slightly so that the contact pins of the electronics fit into the contacts of the switch.
  • Make sure that the rubber bumper is correctly seated.
  • Make sure that the spring for the shaft lock at the front end is correctly seated.
