The screen does not show anything

The battery might need to be charged or replaced. Charge it for a few hours with the device turned off. If that does not work you should try replacing the battery.

The screen brightness might be so low that the screen is hard to read in bright light. Try bringing the device into a dark room to check if the screen can be read. If the brightness is down, turn it up before bringing the device back into a well lit room.

Try pushing the button multiple times to release it. Once it is free, hold down the button to turn on the device.

The battery dies quickly after being fully charged

Make sure to operate the device in room temperature. Cold temperatures will drain the battery quickly or cause the device to turn off completely.

After years of being recharged the battery may not be able to hold a full charge anymore. This will reduce the amount of time that the device may be used for. If this is the case the battery must be replaced.

If the screen brightness is turned all the way up, the battery will drain much faster. Try turning the brightness down or enabling the auto-brightness setting

The correct pictures cannot be taken

Inspect the camera lenses on both sides on the device. Make sure that they are intact and free of any obstructions. Clean them if they are dirty.

Make sure that the correct camera is being used. Try changing the camera view to see if the wrong one was selected.

The device is not charging when it is plugged into the wall

Make sure that the cord is securely plugged into the device and the wall. If they are not completely connected, the device will not charge.

Check to make sure that you have power at the outlet.

Check if the port of the port of the device is clean. If not then the charging cable may not be getting a clean connection. Try blowing some compressed air into the port to get rid of any foreign particles.

The device does not respond when the screen is touched or a button is pressed

Look to see if the touch screen is clean. If it is too dirty then the touch sensors may not be recognizing the user’s finger. Wipe the screen with alcohol pads or a clean damp cloth to ensure a clean surface.

If the user’s hand are dirty or wet then it may interfere with the touch screen. Make sure to have clean and dry hands before operating this device for optimal performance.

If there is dirt or grease in the cracks around the buttons, then they may become sticky and stuck. Spray compressed air in between the cracks and wipe down the buttons to clean them.
