Introduction

If the dog toy doesn’t squeak when pressure is applied to it, then it’s most likely that the squeaker portion of the dog toy is punctured. This will require replacement.

This guide will show you how to cut open the plush toy, replace the squeaker, and sew it back to it’s original state.

What you need

Step 1

Step 5

  • After placing the new squeaker into the toy, it’s time to sew the toy back to it’s new state. Thread the needle with a 6-8 inch piece of thread. This will be more than enough thread to sew the 2 inch incision.
  • After threading the needle, tie the thread so the needle doesn’t come loose.
  • Threading the needle may be hard. Using a magnifying glass may help with this step.
