Introduction

Make sure to have extra propellers. If you purchased a DJI Mavic Mini, it should have come with extra propellers.

Have extra screws only if needed, as some screws may be damaged.

You need a maximum of 8 propellers, as that is how many propellers are on the drone, although you only need the quantity that you are planning to replace.

Make sure the drone is compacted before starting the process, as this may help prevent accidentally breaking the drone arms.

What you need

Step 1

  • Identify the drone propellors.
  • The drone propellers have a different design on the tip, with one consisting of two silver strips, and the other with only one. Refer to the third image.
  • There is a bump on the propellor with the two silver stripes, located near the screw. This helps indicate the side of the the propeller goes on, as there is an indent on that side near the propeller motor on the drone. Refer to the first image.

  • This also applies for the second propeller on the same motor. Refer to the second image.
  • You may replace the screw if needed as well, if the previous screw is damaged.
  • Make sure you know which propeller goes where. This is important as a wrong placement can cause unstable flight.
