Introduction

Let’s have at it.

Step 1

              Display all the vehicle temperature sensors               
  • Insert the key in the ignition.
  • On the heating/cooling control, press and hold the AUTO and DUAL buttons.
  • Turn the ignition key to Start (III) to start the vehicle normally. (The key returns to the ON (II) position after starting.)
  • Sensor values start displaying on the climate control display.

Step 2

  • Cycle through the displayed values with the REAR DEFROSTER button. The code for display displays in the left (Driver’s temp) segment, alternating the code number and the value.
    1. In-car temperature in Celsius.
    1. Ambient temperature in Celsius.
    1. Solar radiation sensor: Dark=00, flashlight=04, cloudy=10, sunny=65.
    1. Engine coolant temperature.
    1. Evaporator outlet temp in Celsius.
    1. Driver’s air mix opening (% of opening).

Cycle through the displayed values with the REAR DEFROSTER button. The code for display displays in the left (Driver’s temp) segment, alternating the code number and the value.

  1. In-car temperature in Celsius.

  2. Ambient temperature in Celsius.

  • *2004-2005 model year. Later years shows 00 for 0-9 Km/h, 01 for 10-19 Km/h, etc.
    1. Vent air out temperature.

Hi David, by any chance, do you have any guides/tips for troubleshooting a blank display that won’t turn on for a navigation system on a Acura 2005 TSX? Thanks!
