              Battery

Hold the phone with the screen facing down. Push the back cover firmly down and slide it towards you.
The panel will slide down about 2mm.
Lift the panel away from the phone.

Lift the battery out from the bottom edge.

              Back Cover

Insert the edge of an opening tool between the back cover and the phone body on the top edge (not to be confused with the edge where the phone slides).
Pry the back case off of the phone working your way around the edges until the panel is freed from the phone.
Be careful when pulling the spudger down the side by the charging port. The plastic cover may bend or snap.

Step 4

While removing the back cover do not lose the power button. It is held in place by the back cover and may fall off during removal.
Pull the back cover away from the phone.
Remove the power button if it has not already come off.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
