What you need

Step 1

              Remove Screws               
  • Remove the screws from the bottom, right, and left side of camera.

              Remove back               
  • Remove the back of the camera, this may require force.

              Remove Metal Bracket               
  • Unscrew the right metal bracket of the viewing lens

              Remove front of camera               
  • Unscrew the top right corner screw

  • Unscrew the bottom right corner screw.

Unscrew the bottom right corner screw.

Step 6

  • Pull the grey circular facet that sits on the bottom outside of the camera off - may have to use force.

  • Pull the front of the camera off of the mother board.

              Disassembling Nikon Coolpix 5600 Flash Unit               
  • Unscrew the grey plastic around the screen

  • Twist the grey bracket counterclockwise to remove it from the silver LCD bracket.

  • Maneuver to detach the flash bulb.

  • Unscrew the metal bracket under the lens

  • Slide the plastic bracket through the metal bracket.

  • Remove the orange cable from the motherboard.

  • Pull the black tape off.

  • Unscrew the two screws underneath.
