The device doesn’t charge or the device doesn’t hold its battery.
Could need a battery replacement or the problem could be the charging cord. The possible issue is the battery, but try resetting the device first. If this action doesn’t work, then do a battery replacement. You can learn how to do your own battery replacement by following our guide. Replace battery using this guide.
Test your power cord by trying to charge the device, if it doesn’t charge switch to a second power cord if it charges the cord could be the issue. Possible issue with cord could be fixed by buying a new cord.
Possible issue could be resolved by powering off the device, then holding the power and home buttons at the same time until the screen lights up. This will reset the device leading to possible resolution of the issue.
The device is dangerously hot
The cause of this could be extensive usage during a short period of time or from usage while being on the charger at the same time.
Another reason could be from not powering off the device before placing it in a bag/carrier.
Try to avoid using the tablet extensively while charging it. Once device reaches 100% charge remove it. Another possible way to minimize overheating is to make sure to power off the device before placing it into an enclosed carrier.
The Digiland tablet does not respond to touch; display remains the same.
Try resetting the device by inserting the end of a paperclip into the port labeled reset and hold for five to ten seconds. This will reset the device and possibly resolve the issue of having a frozen screen.
If the tablets screen is still not responding after resetting it, the tablet may have a faulty screen and it will need to be replaced.
This Digiland tablet is not staying connected to WiFi router.
Possible issue could be the Wi-Fi is shut off or disconnected in the settings. Go to the settings and double check the Wi-Fi connection.
Locate your Wi-Fi router and disconnect it from the source for one minute and then plug it back in and try reconnecting on your tablet
Solutions for no sound coming out of device
If no sound comes out from the device though your headphones, the problem is likely the headphones. Try another set of headphones to see if the tablet produces sound.
After trying multiple sets of headphones with no improvement on the sound you may have an issue with your input or jack.
