Introduction
The brushes may wear out over time thus requiring a replacement which can be referred to using this guide and the tools down below. Before beginning, use a knife to cut the middle of the sticker located at the base of the handle for ease when disassembling the part.
What you need
Step 1
Battery
- Press the battery release button at the top of the battery.

- Pull the battery away from the tool.

Motor Assembly
- Remove the eight 18 mm Torx Security #10 screws.

- Separate the two halves of the outer case. Set the empty side down and out of the way.

Step 5
- Disconnect the connector from the motor assembly.

- Pull the motor away from the brush assembly.

Brush Assembly
- Lift the brush assembly out of the drill case.

- Pull the armature assembly apart from the brush ring assembly.

Step 9
- Pry the two circled connectors apart from the brush ring assembly.

Step 10
- The brush assembly is now removed from the drill body.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Can you tell me the exact model number of the unit in this tutorial? And/Or the part number for that switch assembly? I cannot find that specific switch assembly anywhere! Thank you.
