Introduction

Replacing the power switch may fix your on/off issues. In this guide, we will be teaching you how to replace the switch. You can order a replacement switch here.

What you need

Step 1

              Power Cord               
  • Please wear safety glasses while completing this guide.
  • Remove screws (3) from cap by using the T20 torx attachment and unscrewing in a leftward motion.

Step 2

  • Gently pry the cap off using your fingers or spudger tool.

  • Once cap is off, expose and locate the power cord mounting bracket and remove the 2 screws holding the wire down by using the T15 torx attachment. Once the cord is loose, pull the connectors out

  • Loosen the white and black wire terminals

  • Insert new power cord terminals and tighten down
  • Do not over-tighten

              Power Switch               
  • Remove screws (3) from the cap using a T20 torx attachment by unscrewing in a leftward motion

  • Gently pry the cap off

  • Once the cap is removed, the switch and connectors should be exposed

  • Remove both connectors from the switch

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
