Introduction

In this repair guide, we will be teaching you how to replace the disc pad on the DeWalt D26451. You can order a replacement pad here.

What you need

Step 1

              Pad               
  • Please wear safety glasses while completing this replacement guide.
  • Insert the 60 mm extension into the screw driver which has the t15 torx bit installed in order to make a t-handle grip.
  • Turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise to loosen all three screws in the disc pad.

Step 2

  • Turn the disc pad over and remove the loosened screws.
  • When the screws are removed, the disc pad will come off of the sander.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
