              Dell XPS M170 MXG051 Battery Removal               

• Turn off your computer. Then, disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
• Close the display and turn the computer upside down on a flat work surface.
• Slide the battery-bay latch release on the bottom of the computer and remove the battery from the bay.

Close the display and turn the computer upside down on a flat work surface.

Slide the battery-bay latch release on the bottom of the computer and remove the battery from the bay.

Step 2

              Remove Hard Drive               

• Turn over the computer and remove the two M3 x 3 - mm screws.
• Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

Turn over the computer and remove the two M3 x 3 - mm screws.

Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

To reassemble your device, put a new hard drive in the drive bay and follow these instructions in reverse order.
