              Dell XPS M170 MXG051 Battery Removal               
  • Turn off your computer. Then, disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
  • Close the display and turn the computer upside down on a flat work surface.
  • Slide the battery-bay latch release on the bottom of the computer and remove the battery from the bay.

Turn off your computer. Then, disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.

Close the display and turn the computer upside down on a flat work surface.

Slide the battery-bay latch release on the bottom of the computer and remove the battery from the bay.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order using a new battery.
