Introduction
Before following this guide, first try using a new power cable. The power cable might be dead.
Before beginning, make sure to completely power off the device.
What you need

Back Panel
- Remove eight 5 mm screws from the back panel using a T5 Torx screwdriver.
- Use the opening tool to loosen the panel on all sides and then lift it from the device.

Battery
- Remove seven 3 mm screws securing the battery using a JIS #1 screwdriver.
Remove seven 3 mm screws securing the battery using a JIS #1 screwdriver.
Step 3
- Use the spudger to detach the battery connector from the motherboard.
- Gently unplug this attachment.
- Remove the battery from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
