What you need

Step 1

              Removing the Battery               
  • Turn the computer over.
  • Slide the battery-bay release latch and the battery-lock latch towards the outer edges.
  • Slide the battery out of the battery bay.
  • Turn the computer top-side up, open the display, and press the power button to ground the system board.
  • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

              Remove the Screws               
  • Remove the two screws on the module cover.

Remove the two screws on the module cover.

              Lifting the Cover               
  • Lift the cover off the computer at an angle as shown in the figure.
  • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

              Remove Solid-State Drive               
  • Remove the two screws that secure the solid-state drive.
  • Lift the solid-state drive out of its system board connector.
  • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.
