Sliding the Battery Release Latch
- Flip the computer over.
- Slide the battery release latch to the unlock position.

- Slide the other battery release latch to the unlock position.

Removing the Battery
- Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.
- If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

Remove the Screws
- Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer.

Removing the Base Cover
- Lift up the base cover and remove it from the computer.
- If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

Hard Drive
- Remove the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the computer.

- Slide the hard-drive assembly towards the center of the computer and lift it up and away from the computer.

- Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.

Step 9
- Lift up the hard-drive bracket and remove it from the hard-drive assembly
- If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.
Lift up the hard-drive bracket and remove it from the hard-drive assembly
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
