              Identify your laptop               
  • Make sure you have the right laptop by checking the sticker.

              Remove Battery               
  • Start with your PC shut off and upside down.
  • Pull out tabs.
  • Pull up on rail to remove battery.

              Remove Back Panel               
  • Remove the two screws:
  • One M2 Phillips screw (Fixed)
  • One 5-mm M2 Phillips screw

  • Use a iFixit opening tool to remove the back panel.

  • From here you can access:
  • The hard drive
  • The RAM.
  • The CD Drive.

              RAM Removal               
  • We will focus on the RAM.

  • Pull out on the tabs to release RAM.
  • Pull out the RAM.
  • If you have two SoDIMMs installed, start with the top one and repeat the proccess for the lower one.
  • When reinstalling ram, make sure it is fully inserted before fully locking it down.
